 Goalline loves to show off some of the awesome teams and leagues using its product, and the Peninsula Panthers is one of those teams. 

Check out the team’s new website – though just up and running, it’s an awesome looking site and the team is making the most of its Goalline features. The team is also taking advantage of tools such as Twitter and Facebook to create some buzz for the upcoming season, generating interest among fans, and keeping its community up-to-date on the team.



“This is a great looking website,” notes Goalline Director of Marketing Luke Naylor. “The deep functionality and the intuitive look and feel of the Panther’s site are indicative of where our sites are heading in the future – moreover, the Panthers are leveraging the awesome social media tools that Goalline has made available on our sites, so it's easy for everyone to use, while creating new opportunities to engage fans, parents and even the media."

The mission of the team is to create a positive and competitive surroundings in which players can develop physically and emotionally in a safe and healthy environment. The Panthers actively partner to the Peninsula Minor Hockey Association, as well as with businesses on the Peninsula and in Greater Victoria, and the Greater Community on the Peninsula. 

As the team’s website notes, “In keeping with the theme of developing young players, the Panthers boast many that have passed through the system and moved to higher levels.”  Most notable is Jamie Benn who led the Panthers in scoring during the 2005/06 season and capturted the team and VIJHL Rookie of the Year.  Benn is currently playing for the Dallas Stars and, according to the team’s website, “is an odds on favorite to be selected to the next Canadian Olympic team.”
