Goalline is excited to announce its relationship with rap superstar Snoop Dog’s youth football league – The Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL). Not only are we all huge fans of Snoop, but the league and its mission is one we proudly support.

The Snoop Youth Football League is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing inner city kids the opportunity to play youth football. The SYFL serves kids between the ages of five and thirteen.  Started in 2005, the first year of play saw over 1300 kids in the Los Angeles area take part in seven regular season games and three weeks of playoffs.  The league continues to expand its mission and reach every year, and in 2011 the league went national, with SYFL Nevada ands SYFL Chicago joining the “Elite B” of SYFL Los Angles. Each season culminates in the “Snoop Bowl”!

 The league emphasizes the values of teamwork, good sportsmanship, discipline and self-respect, while stressing academic success in the classroom. As the league mission statement notes, “Our mission is to provide youth, regardless of ethnic or economic background, the chance to learn…and to integrate all communities through a common interest in sports and academics.”
