Gord Dickie\\President

Attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a focus in economics and the webmaster certificate program. Gord has a long hockey history as he played in the OHL for the Kitchener Rangers and then continued to play varsity hockey in the AUS for the Dalhousie Tigers.

While at Dal, was the manager of the web authoring group and taught web application development courses. Other hobbies include golf, hockey and carpentry.

Mike Johnson\\Vice President

Attended Carleton University in Ottawa, with a focus in business while playing for the OHL'S Ottawa 67's. Mike was a member of the Canadian Men’s National Hockey Team in 1994 & 1996. Drafted in the 1992 NHL entry draft by Minnesota, he also played in the DEL German League and in the AHL.

Mike has worked for many years with Hockey Canada in their programming divisions, public speaking and coaching. Other hobbies include golf and traveling.

Kris Griffon\\Application Architect

Attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While at Dal, was involved with programming and is very experienced as Goalline’s senior programmer.

Kris is also an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking and canoeing.

Joey Richard\\Senior Programmer

Graduated from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a B.Sc (Hons) in Physics and Computing Science.

Joey played high school hockey for Cole Harbour High and enjoys all sports.

Zack Harvey\\Junior Programmer

Zack graduated from Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a B.Sc in Computer Science in 2011.

Zack is an avid fan of music and plays guitar, bass and keyboard instruments.

Neil Collins\\Systems Manager

Earned his B.Sc (Hons) in Business Information Technology from Bournemouth University, UK. Neil played minor rugby and has previously worked with Thales ATM and Lockheed Martin ATM in the United Kingdom.

Neil spends his spare time watching formula 1 racing and playing pool.

Luke Naylor\\advertising \ creative

Luke played 3yrs of Junior hockey before moving on to play for both the University of New Brunswick Varsity Reds and the Dalhousie Tigers. Upon completion of his BA Luke attended NSCAD University where he earned his BFA with a major in fine arts.

Luke has participated in many group and solo shows such "Arena", The Art of Hockey at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and is currently represented by Argyle Fine Art in Halifax, NS.

Erin Lee\\Graphic Designer

Erin started at Goalline as a intern in 2011. Erin is currently is working towards her graphic design degree after being accepted to the design program at the Nova Scotia Community College.

Chilli Awad\\Sales manager

Attended Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia with a focus in marketing and management. Chilli has played football, baseball, and hockey at elite levels. Chilli comes from a sales, and marketing background and has led several sales teams. Chilli has been a key contributor on marketing campaigns involving the CFL, CHL, and the MLB.

Other hobbies include playing and coaching softball, golf and poker.

Anthony Pasto\\Business Development

Anthony worked for Tim Hortons as a baker, then a production manager at 4 stores for 25 years. Anthony is involved with ball hockey and ran Welland St. Hockey Centre. He grew that business to 5 locations with over 10,000 members.

He attended Ecole Secondaire Confederation, completed the Queens University Operations Leadership and Management and Canadian Sales Professional Association designation programs.

Ryan Wheaton\\Business Development

Ryan brings many years of sales experience to Goalline. He enjoys talking to new prospects and maintaining the needs of previous customers. Ryan is a huge sports fan and likes to play in as many hockey leagues as possible. He comes from a family with a long history of championship golfers which includes his father, mother and grandfather.

Ryan has competed at a high level of military hockey and his favorite accomplishment is completing a 200 km bike ride in 13 hrs .

Jeff Nygaard\\Business Development

Jeff graduated from North Dakota State University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and spent 10 years working in NCAA college athletics. Jeff has owned and operated Junior hockey franchises and still operates a youth hockey organization.

He became a GoalLine customer five years ago and his time spent assisting other organizations with web-based solutions led to his position with GoalLine.

Josh McLennan\\Business Development

Josh graduated from Saint Leo University in 2003 with a degree in sports management and was on the men’s varsity soccer and cross country team. He has spent the last 8 years working in the sports travel industry building relationships with all types of sports organizations in the US and addssxs over 13 years sales experience.

He runs the oldest youth soccer tournament in Canada and works in commercial real estate specializing
in sports facility development.

Sarah Jackyra\\Business Development

Sarah graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2010 with cum laude honors in her sport management major and business minor. She is a four year letter winner and former captain for the Lady Vols soccer team, where they made multiple appearances to the NCAA sweet 16 and earned top ten honors nation wide.

Sarah was selected as a part of the US youth soccer National Team Program. In her spare time she enjoys surfing, coaching and traveling.

Tim Potter\\Business Development

Attended Clarkson University as well as the California State University of Bakersfield, while at Clarkson Tim played on the Men's hockey team and studied Engineering. When returning back to California, he turned his focus on to business and found his path into sales.

In his free time, he enjoys fishing as well as still playing men's league hockey.

Tim Boyce\\Support Manager

Tim graduated from Compucollege with honors in 2002 in the Information Systems program and immediately began working with Grant Thornton LLP as a Network Analyst where he was employed for 10 years.

Tim played Junior hockey in the Maritime Jr A hockey league and has a passion for coaching having coached at the minor hockey, high school, major midget and Jr A levels in recent years.

Amanda Velutini\\Account Manager

Amanda attended Mount Saint Vincent University where she majored in marketing and minored in management. Besides her husband and kids, her passion is refereeing soccer. Amanda has been refereeing for over 15 years and has her sights set on someday officiating in a World Cup.

She has represented both her province and her country at National and North American championships.

Shannan Lupa\\Account Manager

Shannon attended Timiskaming District Secondary School and Northern College Haileybury School of Mines. For the past seven years, Shannon has worked for call centres providing excellent customer support.

In her spare time she enjoys playing Ladies and Co-ed ball hockey.

Ashley Brown\\Account Manager

Ashley graduated with a B.A. from St. Mary's University majoring in Criminology in 2006. She continues to work in the legal field, until starting at GoalLine in 2011. She loves photography, and this past July she began a Digital Photography diploma. She looks forward to pursuing photography and continuing to work for GoalLine.

In her spare she enjoys photography, spending weekends at her family's cottage in PEI, and motorcycling with her husband Mike.

Megan Pegg\\Data Analyst

Megan graduated with Honours from The Nova Scotia Community College with a certificate in Office Information Technology. Megan enjoys horseback riding and walking in her spare time.

Megan is also an active volunteer with Team Possibles-Nova Scotia Down syndrome Society.

Evan MacLeod\\Data Analyst

Evan graduated from The Nova Scotia Community College with a Certificate in Office Administration in 2010. During his time at NSCC Evan was part of a steering committee for a conference for the International Association of Administrative Professionals, Halifax branch.

In Evan's spare time he enjoys biking, Geocaching, and hanging out at local beaches

Paul Betrand\\Team Apparel

After a brief stint in junior hockey including a tryout with the Hamilton Red Wings, Paul joined the Navy in 1967 as a Physical Education and Recreation Instructor.(PERI). He attended national championships in Hockey, Fastball, Golf and Badminton before retiring from the Navy in 1995.

Currently Paul is the manager of Micco Promotions and Goalline Team apparel program. In his down time he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his 2 granddaughters.

Joy Atkinson\\Accounting

Joy graduated from Acadia University with an Arts degree and a Bachelor's of Education. After graduating she owned and operated several small businesses including A&K Lick-A-Chick in Cape Breton, NS. In addition to GoalLine, Joy is a College instructor for various business courses.

In her spare time she enjoys kayaking, running, hiking, and traveling.

Ted Naylor\\editor

Ted is widely published in a variety of magazines and publications, contributes a regular web feature for Progress Magazine on marketing, and co-edited a book published by Wilfred Laurier Press in 2011. In addition to his work with Goalline, Ted works in marketing and research as a freelancer for a range of public and private sector clients.

Ted is a former junior and university hockey player.
